Jesus was moved with compassion and this is when the miracles happened. On the cross, he took upon himself all our sin, pain and sickness. We can feel for people, with compassion, and empathy but we must not take on their depression, in many circumstances and in these cases to only have sympathy for certain aspects of their lives.
