[I have one from Uganda, but that's pretty much it now.] I'd be more like you ... not killing the snakes, just running the other way. So glad you enjoyed her so much and were blessed by her. And kept the aprons. What a treat! I don't wear them as they are more decorative, but I think that I will go and get one out a little later just to sit and think with. HUGS and love sent your way! :)Mynn xxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09974625535293172713noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254066980782889853.post-21595376774724979602013-01-28T21:54:07.082-08:002013-01-28T21:54:07.082-08:00Mother wore an apron too. I'm not an apron wearer (yet), but sure do want to have one for me and also a couple for my daughters. I think they give a "homey" feel.

Anyway, I'm glad you shared this; there's nothing like a grandmother's love.Staciehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17869552571064566480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254066980782889853.post-5824737291140057442011-05-12T11:04:34.056-07:002011-05-12T11:04:34.056-07:00Stacie, that's so great! Ho...I'm so glad you recieved one of her aprons. How special! My apron is part of my uniform as a mother. I got tired of ruining my clothes and I refused to wear sweats and t-shirts all the time. I want to look nice and feminine, so I took to wearing an apron several years ago, anytime I'm in the kitchen.Stacie, A Firefighter's Wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14195223939229023945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254066980782889853.post-9552724247790285522011-05-11T21:32:38.255-07:002011-05-11T21:32:38.255-07:00All of my memories of my great grandmother include...All of my memories of my great grandmother include an apron. I stood on the sidewalk and I got to go back into the back yard and soaked up all the memories. I had not been there since I was a little girl. I am now 49. No, it wasn't the same, but I was still glad I got to go and see it:)Kristin Bridgmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09020084825858319693noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5254066980782889853.post-75859250690820702272011-05-11T18:09:13.282-07:002011-05-11T18:09:13.282-07:00*sigh*
